Thanks to you–we have our new furnace! Thank you for all of your help. It has been very cold in our home. I know with an old home you need to replace things, but this furnace issue came at a horrible time. Since we arrive in PA from Florida, we really have no church or community family. When we got into trouble, I was so scared. My husband tries very hard to provide for our family, and this was such a strain on him too. You have taken such a burden off our shoulders. Cherished Creations has helped us in so many ways. From small needs like a cell phone to expensive adaptive equipment. Without a resource like Cherished Creations many of our children would not be able to be discharged home to their families. We often seek help with adaptations to homes and equipment but the joy Cherished Creations bring to a child's face when they drop off a computer or piles of video games to a child who has been hospitalized for months is truly priceless.

The situation that comes to my mind is the little boy with two blind parents. I called you on a Thursday, having been turned down by a Wish Organization as the child was too young (2 1/2). The wish was to go to Sesame Place to meet his character friends. The wish was set up in a day and the family took him on Saturday. He died several days after that. They were so appreciative of the opportunity to spend a happy day with their child. I was so relieved to have been able to help them when time was so limited. It is your incredible ability to size up a situation and do what needs to be done quickly that never ceases to amaze me. Thank you for being there for us and for our families.

If I had to describe the people who work at Cherished Creations I would say that they are genuine, truly caring, interested, flexible, prompt, and easy to work with. Cherished Creations has helped with what we all want to do as helping professionals, provide some reassurance and comfort. While we can’t “fix” everything or assure they it will all be OK, there are so many things that can be done to help these children and families have fun, relieve some worry, and make their everyday lives just a little bit better than they were before.
